iLED-P profile lights have proved to be an excellent choice to the media kitchen

Savo delivered iLED-P profile lights to the beautiful media kitchen of K-Kampus located in Kalasatama. iLED lights can be used to adjust the tone of light from warm white to cool natural white (2700–6500 K). Savo T-93 that is integrated into the worktop was chosen as the cooktop extractor for the media kitchen.

The media kitchen serves as a studio where for example “Mitä tänään syötäisiin?” daily episodes are filmed. Before the iLED-P lights were installed and taken into use the iLED light needed to be tested in HD TV camera shooting. In the test the light was adjusted to 5600 K. The test was concluded to ensure that there is not flutter visible in the light in the TV picture.

“We film both TV and social media content in the media kitchen”, tells Anne Mukkula, Kesko’s Collection Designer for Cello-kitchens. “When filming for TV, it is important that the kitchen lighting is effective and does not flutter. In social media pictures in turn comfortable mood lighting can sometimes work better. The media kitchen is at times also in showroom use.
