The backdraft damper prevents the cold outdoor air from coming down to the kitchen when the motor has been stopped. This valve is compatible with all DUAL Modular cooker hoods. The damper is installed in the cooker hood’s 125 mm outlet. If used with other cooker hoods, the included duct joint is not used. The kit includes one backdraft damper (125 mm) and a short duct joint.
Note! The backdraft damper is not needed if the motor is always running.
