Savo solution: BORA Pure induction cooktop with an integrated extractor, (recirculating Puru)
Sara Parikka and her family built recently a beautiful log house in Espoo. The house is modern and spacious – the living room is several meters high and has huge windows and the kitchen and dinette are all in the same space. The colouring of the décor is light neutral with stylish black accents, for example the kitchen is completely black.
The Parikka family wanted to keep the space open so a cooktop with an integrated downdraft extractor felt like the natural choice for the island of the open plan kitchen. Sara visited Savo Design’s showroom and familiarized herself with BORA solutions. Choosing the right solution for her own home turned out to be surprisingly difficult. “It almost got out of hand because everything looked so great.”
Eventually Sara chose the new BORA Pure. “The design of Pure that we chose is such that it blends beautifully in different interior decorations. For example, the stove can hardly be distinguished from our black worktop. I have to say also that the kitchen island works especially well without a traditional cooker hood. The space remains open and line of sight is maintained throughout it.”

The Parikka family has been very happy with BORA Pure. Sara applauds the spacious cooking area and handy operating panel as well the automatic extractor control. “A big plus for the automatic function which does practically everything for you. I haven’t used much of other functions but the automatic extractor control. With it I don’t need to adjust the extractor at all and can focus fully on cooking.”
The effectiveness of the extractor and activated carbon filter have also made an impact. “The extractor works much better than I could’ve anticipated! The activated carbon filter guarantees that the indoor air stays fresh and it removes all the odors. Even though my expectations were high, I was still surprised how well Pure works. Cooking with this cooktop is easy and effortless.”
