Laurin talot TV-program showed in 10 episodes how one of Finland’s most successful musicians, Lauri Ylönen, planned and executed 4 great houses: for himself, for Elastinen and for Jarppi as well as for Aleksi Valavuori.

Domus produced all the celebrity houses’ custom fixtures. Savo supplied HAWA Concepta sliding door mechanism to Lauri’s, Elastinen’s and Jarppi’s houses’ kitchens. The mechanism enables turning the hinged door into the frame of the cabinet so that for example kitchen’s small appliances can be kept on view when they are needed and hidden other times.

In Lauri’s house there is a beautiful open concept kitchen with an island. HAWA Concepta mechanism suits excellently in the plain kitchen design. Breakfast supplies and appliances are behind doors when they are not used.
